JOB DESCRIPTION
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US. 1-7 Years of Information Technology experience Experience in Oracle versions19c, 12c, 11g, 10g database administration including leading a team of DBAs Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education Experience in Supporting very large, mission critical databases in global infrastructures Extensive experience in various migration approaches of Oracle databases and also experience in Database upgrade to 19c Must have extensive hands on and troubleshooting in Dataguard, Real Application Cluster (RAC), Multitenant, Partitioning and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Must have experience in managing Oracle database in Exadata Perform Security and Compliance Testing, Database Hardening, Corporate Audit assist. Compliance to contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements. Should have experience in automation tools , shell scripting, perl scripting , CI / CD tools Should have experience in Grid and Oracle patching Experience in Advanced Security features like TDE ASM troubleshooting, maintenance and support Excellent trouble shooting skills in RMAN Requires excellent knowledge in database performance tuning and database query tuning.
