Job Description :
  • Required Experience: 5 to 8 years
  • Proven experience with effective database administration using Oracle 11g/ 12c RDBMS in an enterprise-class environment. Proven understanding of the Avamar and/or Networker backup solutions, or similar with vendor administered media management.
  • Demonstrates experience in the effective database management of PeopleSoft 9.2 databases. Proven understanding of the design, application behavior relative to schemas, and security features.
  • Performs highly complex data management functions at an enterprise level; Proven understanding of the project life-cycle to ensure that project teams adhere to standards, and procedures over the course of the life-cycle
  • Proven experience with tablespace management, capacity planning, and monitoring growth.
  • Researches and recommends software, hardware and other tools for data warehousing and data mining solutions; develops and deploys software/scripts to support data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
  • Experience leading and evaluating the implementation of project requests to ensure efficient use of server/database resources. In terms of logical design so as not to create inefficiencies, and unreasonable demands on computing resources
  • Demonstrated experience leading efficiency improvements and implementation of database administration policies and procedures. Proficiency with Oracle performance, and tuning techniques.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Grid Control, data pump, and database cloning techniques. Standby databases for versions 11G and 12C. Proficiency with OEM.
