Outage Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Ensure outage data accuracy through gathering, maintaining, evaluating, and updating of reporting data generated by Entergy’s outage management system.
• Assist Distribution Operations Centers (DOCs) with planned outage customer notifications, as-switched operational model updates, and various software administrative tasks as deemed necessary.
• Respond to ad-hoc operational data requests from Reliability Control Centers management, customer service, and regulatory reporting groups as requested.
• Provide insight for operational performance continuous improvement efforts by performing wide variety of data analyses against established metrics and performance trends.
• Assist Distribution Operations Centers beyond normal business hours during storm events, ensuring outage data reporting requirements are met.
• Develop corrective action plans and present to RCC management.
• Promote a safe/error-free workspace environment.
