Job Description :

Responsiblties:

  • Review and analyze existing custom PHP codebase to access existing functionality.
  • Future projects will include everything from fixing issues identified by users, to creating enhancements to the existing functionality, to major additions of new functionality and full modules
  • Develop and maintain dynamic web applications and web services  using PHP 7.
  • Develop database objects to interface with front end and middle tier applications.
  • Drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs.
  • Database management – primarily MySQL, but also MSSQL and Oracle.
  • Conform to coding standards using industry best practices.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Document requirement and design specifications.

Key Skills:

  • PHP, of course, even if it's just at the beginner level. 
  • Knowledge of Ajax, jQuery, and MySQL.
  • If you're going to be a full-stack developer, then you need to know JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • APIs, Unix/Linux, and MVC Framework Architecture.
