Responsibilities Key Deliverables

  • Analysis of formability simulation and action plans.
  • BIW Sheet metal Part Process and Total Quality planning.
  • 2D/3D Die Design Checking and approval.
  • Pattern and Casting Inspection.
  • Die development progress: Tracking and Monitoring with Dies suppliers.
  • Dies Try-outs and Troubleshooting.
  • Static and Dynamic check and approval for Dies Buy off and Panel Quality.
  • Home Line Try-outs and Dies Installation at stamping site.
  • BIW parts assembly related concerns resolution in stamping parts.

Skills

  • Catia/UG Software, Auto CAD working knowledge.
  • Good Communication Skills (written and spoken)
  • Basic knowledge of die costing.
  • Good exposure in Try-out/Buyoff /Installation of Dies.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal part handling and storage.
