Podiatrist

The Podiatrist at MD at Home provides podiatric services to patients who have been confined to their home due to age or disease. We work with geriatric populations to manage their chronic conditions with a multi-disciplinary, home-based, team approach. Our Podiatrists gain a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction during their practice due to the unique way they interact with patients.

We are looking for Podiatrists with the following qualifications 

• DPM degree from an accredited medical college or university
• Licensed as a Podiatrist in the state of Illinois
• Valid Illinois Controlled Substance License or the ability to obtain a license prior to starting employment
• Valid license with the Federal DEA or eligible to obtain license prior to starting employment

The house call podiatry model continues to allow Podiatrists the ability to spend more time with the patient and maintain work-life balance, Medicare's Independence at Home Demonstration Project has shown how house call primary care and podiatry visits to be an innovative and effective patient-centered care model which improves patient outcomes.
