Power Bi Developer

Job Description:

• With limited direction, develop and maintain Microsoft Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet the business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and data analysis requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
• Design and develop data models and data transformations in Power BI to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and work with the data team to resolve them.
• Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.

 Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of Power BI platform including workspaces, deployment pipelines, dataset creation and maintenance; data hub exploration, PowerBI desktop and report builder required.
• Proven experience with Visual Studio for Enterprise-Wide model development.
• Ability to create reporting solutions from blue printing through implementation.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and integration points with PowerBI.
• Understanding of MS Purview for data classification, definitions, and cataloging a plus.
• Understanding of SAP AFS Functional Areas: Sales and Distribution, Order to Cash, Material Management, Procure to Pay considered a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
