Program Manager

 Responsiblties:

• Generate, review and submit all contractual deliverables.
• Apply change, risk, and resource management.
• Develop metrics and data to define plans, monitor performance, communicate trends, and incorporate into decision making.
• Coordinate cross-project activities.
• Assign tasks to meet work priorities and goals.
• Assume responsibility for the program’s contracts and vendors.
• Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI.
• Manage staff training to meet program objectives.
• Prepare program reports for program directors and senior leadership – technical, schedule and risk status, monthly forecasts, estimate-to-complete with variance analysis and resource loading
• Lead and/or participate in meetings with upper management.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in overall program management

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering field.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3 years of proven experience as a program manager with costs, scheduling, planning and management.
• Ability to understand technical needs of customers and communicate expectations to others within the organization.
• Ability to utilize critical thinking to solve complex problems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to include active listening.
