We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to lead and coordinate environmental or sustainability-related projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, environmental science/engineering, and stakeholder engagement.
As a key team member, you will manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and alignment with client objectives.
🎯 Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of environmental projects (e.g., assessments, remediation, audits, sustainability plans).
Develop detailed project work plans including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Lead cross-functional teams including technical staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.
Monitor and report on project performance using established KPIs.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal quality standards.
Communicate project updates with clients and senior leadership.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
📌 Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the environmental sector.
PMP or CAPM certification is an asset.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Asana, or equivalent).
