Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Create short-term and long-term project plans to include setting targets for milestones and adhering to project deadlines.
• Delegating tasks on a given project to IT resources best positioned to complete them.
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with a given project.
• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple resources are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain on target and on budget.
• Performing quality control on the project throughout the project lifecycle to maintain the standards expected.
• Adjust project schedules and tasks in response to changing needs and requirements demands.
• Review SOX testing/requirements for key general IT controls (ITGCs) and IT application controls (ITACs) and manage audit requirements and subsequent audit remediation tasks.
• Actively participate in the walkthrough of significant IT processes/applications and ensure SOX/supporting documentation is accurate and reflects risk, key controls, and current processes.
• Assess deficiencies identified and work with process owners to identify and appropriate solution.
• Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
