Start: 11/04 or the following Monday, onsite in Boulder CO for at least a week.
Client is building a LIMS platform and needs additional python coding and validation expertise to support the roll out. Consultant(s) will work closely with Lab Scientists and Operators to understand the lab work flow and develop processes and informatics around this workflow to create code in python and DevOps. Ideally the consultant would do both the coding and validation however client is open to a staggered start of a python coder first followed by a validation resource to run the code.
There aren't any bugs in the current code, but the client is getting prepared for additional functionality that will be needed in the next build out to ensure the LIMS is sustainable.
Skills:
· Full stack Python Developer
· Experience programming a Laboratory Information Management System is preferred
· Experience working in a Life Sciences Industry who is familiar with lab operations.
· Experience with support and build of test environments with CentOS Linux on AWS/vSphere/docker
· Experience with Linux and Python is a must
· Experience with AWS, vSphere, docker is a plus
· Knowledge of Biology, Genetics and/or Bioinformatics a plus
