QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop ideas for testing and the procedures to perform those tests.
• Review web application bugs and highlight the areas that are of issue.
• Write programming codes to improve the automation process of testing web application.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Experience in developing automated test cases in at least one programming language.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance, especially web applications.
• Strong knowledge in common web application technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Fantastic communication and presentation abilities.

Key Skills:

• Great coding skills Java, Python, SQL.
• Solid skills in framework design.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodology. 
• Understanding HTML, CSS.
• Using patterns Page Object, Factory in automation.
• Experience in CI and CD.
