Job Description :Responsiblties:
- Coordinate day-to-day tasks and direction for Quality Technicians/Senior QualityTechnicians by providing technical support, mentoring and oversight.
- Responsible for oversight of all product and/or report pre-reviews and releases conductedby Quality Technicians/Senior Quality Technicians.
- Responsible for executing product and/or report releases for all processing runs/labsamples containing a non-conformance, including management of Customer communication and leading the associated non-conformance investigations.
- Initiate and/or participate in corrective actions, problem-solving and continuousimprovement activities.
- Perform internal audits at other AST facilities, including identification of non-compliances and report generation. Responsible for managing remediation of internal auditobservations assigned by site Quality Manager.
- Manage creation of new quality system policies and procedures and revisions to existingpolicies/procedures.
- Review collected data to perform statistical analysis and recommend process changes toimprove quality.
- Instruct other STERIS employees in quality principles, effective corrective actions, andvalid statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with other departments and facilities within the company on quality relatedissues.
- Overall responsibilities include commitment to ensure external and internal requirements armet according to documented policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years’ experience OR 6 years’ experience in lieu of degree, relevant military.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Interim clearance to start.
- Program Auditing and/or military quality experience
- Experienced in the review and extraction of contract requirements for implementation in documented processes and procedure executable by the workforce.
- Must be able to collaborate with Program Management in the development of performance metrics in the areas of customer satisfaction, product/service performance, process performance and supplier/subcontractor performance.
- Must have strong teamwork skills, ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required.
