Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

At least 5 years of experience designing, and developing, and delivering cloud-native applications

At least 5 years of full stack development experience with the MEAN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS) stack or similar NodeJS based stack including react or vue.

At least 5 years of experience with relational databases

At least 3 years of experience with NOSQL datastores

At least 3 years experience deploying containerized applications to ECS, or Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes

At least 3 years of experience with AWS, and microservices architecture, and CD/CI build pipeline

At least 3 years of experience developing, and deploying, and connecting RESTful services in a test-driven development environment

At least 3 years of experience in Agile team leadership role

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience with NodeJS and Java in a software engineering

5+ environment

3+ years of experience with MongoDB, and NOSQL, and SQL years experience

3+ with Java development technology stack (Springboot, or JPA, or

3+ Hibernate, or Gradle, or Jackson)

2+ years of experience with distributed systems, and Kafka, and Apache

2+ SPARK

1+ year of experience building CI/CD pipelines in a serverless computing

1+ environment

 

Call Notes:

5-7 years experience, also hands-on

Overall Needs for this Project:

- Need one person more senior than others/ main difference is years of experience

- +5 years of API preferably in nodejs, Fullstack Dev for Senior

- Nodejs, API dev, Mongo or any other document data store or relational DB (some NoSQL- any, no preference)

- AWS is a must (highly prefers AWS over any other cloud)

- Lambda, ECS, Docker, containerization, deployment

- Senior role needs multiple years (can hit the ground running)

- No time for OTJ training

- E2E Dev experience, built from ground up and deployment

- Multiple languages is preferred (Java and Python)

 

Project includes:

Management of RDS database

- Create and securely store those credentials/ infrastructure to connect users to database.

- Building up those capabilities

 

Top Skills:

API FullStack (80% backend so needs to be stronger there)

AWS

Deployment

Preferred micro-services architecture, at least have basic understanding of microservices
