Sales Engineer

A growing manufacturing and distribution company in Ashburn, VA with an excellent reputation in the erosion control and environmental industries is seeking to hire an Entry Level Sales Engineer to promote the future development of business and build upon the existing foundation.

Responsibilities::

• Searching thru web-based applications industry databases
• Identifying new sales channels, product applications, and new customers
• Development of the Marketing strategy and implementation of initiatives and timelines to improve lead generation and retention.
• Driving online and inbound leads for the company through both digital and traditional methods
• Capturing larger average order sizes and managing margin performance.
• Developing and implementing annual marketing plans which provide competitive analysis, market research, brand positioning, strategies and tactics to reach target audiences, and measurement/metrics for success
• Contribute to website management, update, usability, digital marketing, and traditional marketing strategies and provide plans to expand and continue to grow the company.
• Potential candidates should be driven, flexible, honest and forward-thinking problem solvers. They should be able to set up short-term and long-term goals to retain and acquire customers. They should have at least 1 year of sales experience, technical knowledge, and great leadership abilities to carry out effective management of sales and engineering in the company. The position may require traveling.

Education and Experience

To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate should possess:

• MS or BS in Engineering, preferably Civil or Environmental.
• Computer skills including MS Office and any Inventory and ERP Software
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Must be able to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities.
