Salesforce Developer

Responsibilities:

• Support Index Analytics Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area.
• Support enterprise-level solutions on the Salesforce platform, adhering to the architectural plan, as well as design, development, and integration best practices.
• Work with architects, managers, and business users to support the development activities.
• Correctly assess when out-of-the-box solutions can be implemented instead of custom development.
• Create and develop Salesforce communities with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Aura, and Web Components using JavaScript and CSS.
• Work proactively with the business analyst and technical teams, and maintain accountability for work within the sprint team.
• Troubleshoot the existing Salesforce application for defects and provide solutions that optimize the code base.
• Focus on test-driven-development and align the development with user stories, and test cases with acceptance criteria.
• Perform administrative functions as needed, such as data loading using XL-Connector.
• Convert user stories to technical tasks to demonstrate and document necessary design updates.
