Scrum Master

 Responsibilities:

• Works with cross-functional teams to keep critical organizational projects and programs moving forward.
• Helps the team make progress by ensuring the team is working on the right tasks and removing blockers.
• Helps the Product Owner manage the scope and backlog.
• Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
• Facilitates and supports all program team events: identifying business need, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to increase the effectiveness of the adoption of Agile practices in the organization.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architecture, Engineering and Data teams to deliver projects and programs.
• Contribute to the maturing of portfolio practices at the IAPP.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of development project experience on an Agile Team or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
• Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
• Experience working in an Agile framework or method.
• Understanding of software development life cycle models.
