Security Analyst

job description:

Security Analyst : The Security Analyst will need to build and maintain a understanding of the company’s networks, business operations, and environment so they can effectively perform their role. They will also need to be able to document this understanding for the consumption of others.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Security Operations center to examine computer log data for threat.
• Provide support to Incident Response team to help contain and eradicate threats.
• Provide support to Cyber threat intelligence team to track threats and understand their priority.
• Provide support to the Attack Surface management teams to help the company prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Providing technical analysis that would support new detections for threats.
• Produce documentation about process, procedures, threats, vulnerabilities, solutions, etc.
• Integrate and share information with the teams.
• Ability to work in a hybrid managing services environment utilization various partners.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and detect color coded events.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of IT, computer science concepts.
• Bachelors’ degree in IT related major, Information Security Major, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience using Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS, WAF, and SIEM.
• Ability to prioritize work using the guidance of leadership.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members in a geographic and culturally diverse workforce.
