Security & Compliance Developers

Required Attributes :

• Please do not send Linux Admin profiles.
• Strong Linux systems engineering background with CentOS/RHEL 7 (preferred) or Ubuntu 18.04+
• Experience with securing/hardening applications and operating systems; should be able to talk about topics ranging from fundamental UNIX permissions to iptables and MAC (Mandatory Access Control) systems like SELinux or AppArmor
• Proven track record of implementing tools similar to what we use (e.g. Docker, Apache Kafka, Elastic stack, InfluxData TICK stack, Hashicorp Consul/Nomad/Vault -- or equivalents)
• Solid understanding of microservices and the platforms that run them
• Experience with configuration management software e.g. Ansible (preferred), SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, etc
• Understanding of essentials of networking and network security

Preferred:

• Knowledge of overlay networks and how to use them for network segmentation
• Experience with security/compliance regimes such as FedRAMP
