Security Consultant - Data & Application Security Services

Soft Skills:

• Strong technical skills required in one or more of the following areas:
• Infrastructure support, networking, application development, distributed mainframe, third party integration, web technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of information security policies and standards is required (or equivalent if external candidate).
• Proven ability to perform security risk assessments, communicate (in writing and verbally) the results, and advise on actions to reduce or eliminate risk.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills and ability to build new relationships quickly with customers and partners
• Be able to function in an ‘on demand’ environment.

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 5 years’ experience in Security Knowledge
• At least 1 year experience in Risk Management
• Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
• Client facing role to design secure security solutions for new projects that will be integrated into the existing environment.
•  This includes working as a team member with client personnel to identify functional requirements and provide guidance to the team on designing a solution that will adhere to all compliance standards.
• The selected candidate must be able to advise other professionals on security tools, technology and methodologies related to the design and development of IT solutions.
• This role helps clients understand key security and privacy issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities using workshops and assessments and develop security and privacy programs to meet client's business needs.
• They also architect secure solutions to address specific security and privacy requirements.
• The incumbent must have a background in Information Security, with experience in working with technologists, business partners and third parties on addressing security-related challenges and opportunities
