SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - OPT/CPT

Job Description :Job Summary In this role, you will be working collaboratively with the internal operations team at a privately held litigation dispute consulting firm as a Senior Accountant. We are looking for a high-energy, well-organized team player. This role requires you to demonstrate business professionalism, the ability to multi-task and work in a high growth environment. This position will interact closely with all levels of management and staff, as well as outside service providers. We will consider hiring  for entry level opt cpt candidate, H1B, EAD. Requirements: -1 - 2+ years of accounting/audit experience -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a necessity -Strong organizational, team, and analytical skills -Excel skills, required -Proficient in Microsoft Office. -Experience with Quickbooks, a plus -hiring OPT/CPT/H1B/GC/ USC candidates -Excellent interpersonal skills Responsibilities: -Balance statements, financial transactions and data entry on a time and accurate basis as defined by department standards -Participate in developing and implementing standard or enhanced financial policies and procedures for client accounts -Promptly and accurately communicate and document changes, amendments, adjustments or errors that arise -Prepare reconciliations of securities, cash, valuations, and earnings Qualifications for the Senior Accountant -Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics, preferred. -Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving ability. -Detail-oriented personality with proven attention to prioritization to meet internal and external deadlines. -General knowledge of accounting controls, processes and procedures.
