Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Utilize appropriate statistical methods to analyze data and derive insights.
• Manage large datasets and perform data quality checks to ensure the validity of analyses.
• Build scalable and reproducible work in Python or R including data ingestion, quality checks, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and output.
• Summarize and disseminate findings to internal stakeholders, utilizing effective writing and data visualization.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and data visualizations to communicate strategic insights to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in mathematics, statistics, data science, or social science.
• 3-5 years of professional experience programming statistical analyses in SPSS, Stata, Python or R.
• 2-4 years of professional experience with quantitative analysis.
• Strong data visualization skills.
• Strong process orientation - motivated to instill sustainable/scalable processes and templates.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to the social sector and MLT’s mission and values.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency with data modeling and data analysis tools.
• Expertise in programming languages Java, Python, R, SAS, Scala, SQL.
• Experience with statistical and mathematical analysis.
