Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with leadership in devising strategy for pioneering and implementing advanced analytics methods to identify and solve business problems

  • Deliver data science solutions leveraging latest machine learning techniques, including exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and selection, model selection, evaluation and cross validation, deployment and productionalization at scale that drive value

  • Research and apply a range of data science methodologies and machine learning models to complex business problems

  • Work end to end on data science projects from analytical design to implementation

  • Engage in client communications for all important functions including data understanding/exploration, strategizing solutions etc.

  • Manage client and program engagements using governance models

  • Communicate results as well as their uncertainty and limitations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Acquire understanding of US Healthcare domain

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or reassignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related discipline

  • 0-2 years of experience in Analytics industry

  • Deep knowledge of probability, statistics and machine learning algorithms and be able to determine when to apply them

  • In depth knowledge and hands-on computer programming in SQL, Python, R or similar programming language

  • Knowledge of Azure, or similar cloud platforms

  • Familiarity with big data platforms (like Spark, Databricks), machine learning frameworks (like TensorFlow, Keras, MXNet or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn) and ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Understanding of US healthcare Domain

  • Professional, service oriented, proactive and flexible

  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to handle and summarize large data sets using SQL/Hive-SQL/Spark SQL

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturity

  • Ability to engage in client communications for all important functions including data understanding/exploration, strategizing solutions etc.
