Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities: 

•  Support and enhance existing systems used by the Client. 
•  Using Java and related technologies, design, develop, and implement web-based applications and services for the client. 
•  Understand functional specifications and translate them into working code. 
•  Estimate development tasks and effort involved in completing system requirements. 
•  Deliver quality software releases on schedule. 
•  Work in a team environment. 
•  Work on multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently while being accountable for driving the success of the project application development. 
•  Participate in design and code reviews to evaluate and ensure that the design being applied meets policies, principles, and standards. 
•  Review and align COTS product choices to ensure that enterprise technical standards are met. 
•  Adhere to industry standards and software best practice guidelines. 
•  Define and implement proof of concept for new initiatives.
