Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and define project requirements in the financial industry context.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and best practices.
• Analyze and optimize existing codebase to improve system performance and maintainability.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality of software through comprehensive testing and code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial technology and incorporate them into the development process.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide input for system design and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the documentation of software design, architecture, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components into the overall financial system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8 years of professional experience as a Java developer in the financial industry.
• Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with Java EE and Spring Framework.
• Deep understanding of financial industry regulations, trading systems, and related technologies.
• Experience with database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of financial data feeds, APIs, and integration with external systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
