Position: Senior Java Developer

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Duration: Contract

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

Technology Skills: (Must Have)

  • Java SDK 1.8
  • Java Spring Framework
  • Spring Boot (Embedded Tomcat)
  • Secure Coding Practices (Experience with exposure to Fortify or Sonar)
  • REST & SOAP API
  • Experience working on Agile Methodology
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database
  • Ability to write Unit Test Case and Integration Test Cases
  • Automated Integration/Regression Test Cases (Experience with Cucumber, Groovy or other tools)

Other Skills:

  • Great Communication Skills
  • Engaged Team Player
  • Willingness to Learn
  • Agile Philosophy / Mindset

Good to have:

  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture concepts
  • Micro Services
  • 2 Factor Authentication (OAuth)
  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools
  • Some DevOps Experience/Exposure (Chef, Bamboo)
  • Knowledge of performance tuning in Oracle database (ability to recognize that indexing/performance tuning could be an issue)
  • Oracle Stored Procedures PL/SQL (relatively important skill)
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience Working w/ Cloud Services (AWS/Azure)
