SENIOR VM WARE ENGINEER

The candidate will work with a US team whose responsibilities include but are not limited to day-to-day operational tasks, projects, office migrations/moves, problem/change tickets, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

Candidate needs to have strong current technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting, and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member is required.

Server and Windows troubleshooting is a MUST along with VMware upgrades/migration experience.

• Prefer to see hands-on in VMware 6.0/6.7
• 4+ years VMWare ESXi, including version 6.0/6.7 hands-on experience
• Security-minded and ability to think on their feet
• Experience in planning and execution of upgrades/migrations
• In-depth experience installing/configuring/maintaining hosts
• Extensive experience with creating and maintenance of VM templates
• 4+ years of Hands-on experience Administering Windows Server 2012
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019
• 4+ years Server Hardware Experience current hands-on experience
• Server Rack management and cable management experience
• Strong Windows and VMware troubleshooting Experience
• Preferred but not a must:  3+ years Hands-on experience with Linux OS
• Preferred but not a must: Hands-on experience with Hyper-converged Infrastructure Solutions (i.e., Nutanix)
