Software Developer

Candidate Requirements/Experience:

• Very proficient in C# (.NET Framework)
• Proven UI development experience using Xamarin.iOS with C#  
  • Experience developing, compiling, and running applications on a Mac/iPad (using device simulator, and physical device deployments for debugging)-
• Extensive application debugging/troubleshooting experience with Visual Studio (Mac or Windows)
• Ability to become intimately familiar with existing complex software systems with little assistance from others

The development will provide data and visual analysis of bony anatomy and orthopedic components/implants on 2D radiographic images.

This project is a new feature built on an existing software system written in C#. The Windows UI components are utilizing WPF, and the iOS UI is written in Xamarin Native (code-based UI, not storyboards). 

The developer(s) will be supporting the following activities:

• Developing software tools for manual annotation of landmarks on xrays
• Creating a stepwise annotation workflow and handle data flow within the process
• Make basic geometric calculations based on anatomical points in 2D space such as calculating the angle between two vectors
• Creating unit tests for newly developed code and conducting acceptance testing on newly developed features
• As needed, assisting in assembling and revising documentation and test reports for newly developed code according to the documentation standards necessary for FDA submission
