Software Developer

Job Description:

• Overview: Callidus is seeking a Software Developer to provide programming support is needed to enhance existing software applications as well as develop new applications that utilize emerging standards and technologies. Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to learn and teach others about new technologies will be needed in the research and development environment.

• Qualifications:
• M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline with at least 3 years experience; advanced degree desirable
• Experience with development on two or more operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
• Familarity with source configuration management/version management
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, correct, complete understandable reports and documentation
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving skills

Experince:

• Experience with open-source products from the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) such as SOIr/Lucene
• Experience with interprocess communications, shared memory, and multihreaded program development
• Experience in developing and maintaining graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
• Experience with SSL and encrypted client/serve programming
• Experience with cloud computing.
