Software Engineer

About the role

• The position of software engineer is to develop the interface for ETL in ABInitio .
• The role is responsible for all technical and configuration aspects of the identified solution. Advanced competency on understanding functional requirements.
• Play a pivotal role in the design and development activities, and closely work with internal / external ABInitio developer
• Close coordination with Solution leads and Business Analyst to understand the requirement to develop the solution in ABInitio
• Technically design, build, and develop interface for ETL solution in ABInitio .
• Resolve in a timely manner production issues of ETL / ABinitio.
• Work with database professionals to develop and implement secure, fast and stable data structures with in ETL domain
• Coaching and mentoring internal ABInitio developers
• Deliver the interface as the per road map .
• Ensure the security of applications and the integrity of the data.
• Responsible for functional technical documentation, coding accuracy, software configuration, version control and code reviews, IT testing.
• Work with Customers, Business Analysts and Project Manager, to clarify software requirements and specifications against business or technical objectives.
• Technically design, build, develop software against agreed specifications.
• Perform unit, systems, integration and regression testing.
• Support the implementation and roll out of the finalized product.
• Strong communication required to effectively manage global stakeholders.
• Very good team player, work with Team Lead and other Senior team members to ensure proper application of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and that completion dates are met, with high quality of all deliverables.
