Sr Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in data collection, data analysis, data mapping, data profiling, data mining and data modeling.
• Responsible for inspecting, cleansing, transforming and modeling data and will address issues related to data completeness and quality.
• Be part of an innovative team responsible for establishing data science and analytical pathways to deliver operational value through clinical insights and population health management capabilities.
• Work directly with our software development team to ensure that we are creating best-in-class solutions to solve our customers’ complex data challenges.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis on the test data set to understand which data variables have a high potential to correlate with the target metric.
• Collaborate with other VA and DoD stakeholders along with other key stakeholders (Federal and non-Federal) to validate finding and approach.
• Work with a data analytics team to develop a data strategy and phased implementation plan to address the full scope of Veteran and Clinician experience and related operational data sources.
• Work with a data analytics team to execute the implementation plan to achieve data strategy objectives by expanding the scope of data provided, incorporating additional metrics and drivers, and implementing mechanisms to incorporate use of key insights into operational decision processes.
• Optimizes data structures, data processing, and data quality.
