Sr Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Identify, extracts, and cleans appropriate data for any given business problem specifically in their domain.
• Will be challenged to easily piece together data for anything outside of their domain.
• Expert in one or two advanced modeling techniques, but does not have breadth of expertise yet in other realms.
• If business problem matches up with modeling skillset, is able to drive project.
• If outside of skillset, requires more time and support from superiors to complete task.
• Able to identify proper evaluation metrics for models of expertise.
• May need help driving next action steps with more unfamiliar models.
• Has technical expertise within statistical or technical software of choice - but may not have full breadth or exposure to every step of the analytics project.
• Can troubleshoot, but may take more time to identify issue/cause.
