Job Description :

Role: Mainframe Developer

Responsibility Summary/Job Description

  • 8+ years' experience
  • Analyze, design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs
  • Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
  • Provide quality assurance reviews
  • Ability to perform lead analyst role is a plus

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Preferred or equivalent experience in information systems
  • Five or more years of experience in software development and support in COBOL
  • Knowledge of financial services industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor, as required.

Practical experience with the following:

  • Cobol
  • JCL
  • DB2
  • IDMS
  • EXPEDITER
  • CICS
  • MQ
  • FileAid

 Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with the following is a plus:

  • CA7
  • NDM/sFTP
  • Java
  • Mongo
  • Autosys
  • Agile
  • ISPW
