SSIS Developer

Position: SSIS Developer

Location: Lakeland FL

Duration: Long Term

Skills Required:

·         Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) including design and development of ETL processes utilizing SSIS.

·         Strong SQL, script background with the capability to create complex SQL Queues

·         Experience working with large and complex data sets

·         Experience using Team Foundation Services (TFS) to create solutions following a defined software develop life cycle (SDLC)

·         Ability to create clear and concise documentations for all project work including coding, methodology, assumptions, data issues, report results, etc

·         Experience developing and integrating proper data validation and error handling during job execution

·         An aptitude to understand application design models, programming languages, and software testing concepts

·         Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as an ability to follow standards

·         A high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity

·         Ability to deal with some levels of ambiguity

Special Qualifications:

·         Minimum 3 years of experience performing SSIS and SQAL package development

Work Description:

·         Reviewing requirements for each SSIS package

·         Reviewing input and output data requirements

·         Developing SSIS package(s) to perform desire ETL job(s) including adhering to Publix development and SDLC processes

·         Testing and validating successful job executions, data validations and error handling
