Staff Accountant - Finance

Job Description :Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following Understand, maintain and improve month-end close processes and systems to facilitate an efficient close Record revenues to appropriate GL accounts, cost centers and customer jobs Assist in calculating commissions on a monthly basis Accumulate information related to the employee payroll process Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions Assist in Month-end close; preparing monthly recurring and accrual journal entries and all related account reconciliations and analysis Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance Education and/or 2+ years previous experience working in an accounting, finance or related department Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrate thoroughness and good analytical skills, resolves misunderstandings/conflicts through research, analysis and empathy Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of QuickBooksWhat do you get out of this: A great deal of insight into all aspects of a fast-growing business A fun, open, family environment You will never be bored
