Job Description :COMPANY INTRODUCTION   The Center for American Education & Culture (CAEC/ACS) offers students and teachers opportunities to live, work, and study in the U.S. and China. We help build short-term customized programs, long-term study opportunities, and sister school partnerships between American and international schools that foster cultural exchange programs for students, teachers and administrators, as well as joint learning projects.   MISSION   To bridge the gap between educators and students through the development of customizable international immersion programs for distinguished organizations worldwide.   THE OPPORTUNITY   The Center for American Education & Culture is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Program Assistant to support our Summer 2019 Immersion Programs. Working in partnership with the Business Development Team, this person will develop and nurture relationships with both students and business partners by facilitating and conducting site visits to monitor the immersion program progress. Candidates must speak Mandarin and be available to work up to 20 hours per week—beginning in June. This is a paid temporary, summer position (June, July, and August) with potential to transition into full-time.     POSITION DESCRIPTION   Work closely with the Business Development team to implement all aspects of our 2019 Summer Immersion Program. Assist in facilitation and implementation of Summer Immersion Programs throughout California. Visit immersion sites to assist participants and collect feedback from immersion business partners. Build and maintain relationships with students and their supervisors. Help with general office work, including phone calls to program partners, data entry, preparation of immersion materials, and program evaluations. Other office duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development and Office Manager.   Contact us for additional information!   REQUIREMENTS Bachelor&39;s degree is required. Business Degree a plus. Must speak Mandarin. California State Driver’s License. Must have your own vehicle. Education industry experience a plus. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; attention to detail and a high level of professionalism and integrity. A strong relationship-based approach to working with staff, partners, and program participants required. Resourceful with the ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects. A team player who is eager to collaborate with others. Prior experience leading programs and working with youth; an understanding of group dynamics and an engaging, effective facilitation style. Understanding of and international business culture. Experience developing relationships with youth of different backgrounds and abilities. Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel and    PowerPoint. Preferred knowledge of HubSpot CRM.     Salary & Benefits: This is temporary position for up to 3 months Possible Hiring to Full Time Position
