Tableau Administrator/Developer

Responsibilities of a Tableau analyst/developer include:

• Document the requirements or user-stories or unmet data needs in one or more areas of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Decision Support or Business Analysis is required
• Good customer relations to meet with the business staff and learn their business processes and underlying data
• Experience working in an Agile environment and how to handle or manage multiple
• tasks at once
• Perform hands-on work with complex data analysis, report and dashboard development utilizing Tableau, adhering to state Tableau reporting design and security standards
• Perform data validation and quality assurance, as needed
• Ensure timely delivery of reports / dashboards and manage conflicting priorities and customer expectations.
• Ongoing production support of existing and new reports / dashboards

Qualifications 

• Must have at 5+ years of professional and proven experience in tableau dashboard development
• Must have 5+ years experience with Tableau Server Administration

• Should have experience with Tableau desktop version 10.5 or above
• Tableau Advanced concepts like LoD expressions, Row-level Security, Dynamic Parameters Dashboard Optimization techniques
• Experience in data retrieval, data manipulation, data analysis and presentation using data visualizations
• Proficiency in MS Excel with knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLookup and other advanced functions is required
