Tableau Developer

Responsibilities:  

• Work closely with SME or business lead to translate requirements into technical specifications in interactive Tableau dashboards and reporting suites.

• Work closely with development teams and business partners to provide timely and high-quality work products.

• Provide and maintain proper documentation of software developed.

• Resolve complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytical methodologies and principles.

• Perform data collection, interviewing, data modeling, product/service testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.

• Conduct and lead planning and development activities in support of project objectives.

• Inform project leadership and client (as needed) of status of project deliverables.

• Ability to meet internal and external deadlines by efficiently managing time, prioritizing tasks, and utilizing available resources.

Required Skills :  

• 3-5 years experience as a Tableau Developer is required

• Strong SaaS or SQL experience including joining multiple tables to extract data in a large, complex, and normalized data warehouse.

• Strong SQL including tuning complex SQL statements and Stored Procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data and its infrastructure. 

• Strong experience with Dashboards and Data visualization. 

• Strong Tableau site administrator skills related to scheduling, folder/project management, user access, and dashboard performance. 

• Hands on experience with ETL Concepts, processes, large data extracts and data mining.
