Technical Lead - Hardware

Responsibilities & Duties:

• To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion
• To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions
• To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
• TO ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review.
• To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.

Qualifications:

Looking for a team with a range of diverse skill sets that can deep dive on individual subsystems within a typical STB / DVR design, including:

• Tuners (ATSC, QAM, DVB)
• SOC / DDR
• HDMI, HDR (HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG)
• Storage: eMMC, HDD
• Networking: Ethernet, WIFI 802.11ac, 802.11ax, MOCA
• RF protocols: BT 5.x, RF4CE
• USB
• SATA
• Mechanical / Thermal design
• Packaging design
• FCC compliance
• RF / IR Remote controls
• Cablecard
• Manage the priorities of the off-site hardware team.
• Work with local silicon partners (Broadcom, AMLOGIC) to triage hardware issues.
• STB, DVR, HDMI, HDR, Storage-DDR, HDD, eMMC, Networking
• USB SATA, Microcontroller, Microprocessor, analogue and digital circuitry, Python

Skills :

• Technical Skills (ERS)-Electronics V&V-Functional Testing: Hardware.
