Activities:

• Experience with vRealize Automation 8.x – migration from vRA 7.x to 8.x
• Workflow development for streamlining Virtual Infrastructure environment via Cloud Portal.   Developing and troubleshooting vRO workflows to automate Infrastructure tasks using JavaScript and PowerShell coding
• Support the development, test, and implementation of re-coding of in-house applications to support the cloud readiness and reference architectures
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting and APIs.
• Manage entire vRealize Suite Products lifecycle and manage Proof of Concepts for future upgrades and enhancements to expand offerings.
• Automate operations, for server lifecycle and to ensure the repetitive tasks are streamlined for better manageability and traceability
• Working on Automated provisioning using vRealize Automation (vRA) and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
• Design, Install, Configure and Manage VMWare vSphere and VMWare vRealize Suite 2019,
• Manage 6000+ virtual Windows Servers and its lifecycle from deployment to decommission with automation.
• Manage server images (templates) for all environments.  Manage patching every two months to ensure the server images are in compliances with Agency’s security updates and standards.
• Meet with business units to discuss current virtualization issues and plans.  Monitor upcoming VMWare releases and its impact on virtual environment.
• Coordinate with Backup and Recovery Team for any backup inconsistencies for requests submitted via Cloud Portal.
• Troubleshoot issues where monitoring appliances may be affected by an outage due to cert expiration, version upgrade or patching
• Provide customer support, managing the portal requests and resolving errors for the users.
• Prepare briefings and presentations for Management, including new product features and live demonstrations
• Create and update Standard Operations Procedures documentation and technical run books
