Full Job Description

Axome Group is now hiring a Warehouse Lead! As a Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties to help improve efficiencies at the organization. The Warehouse Lead will be the initial point of contact for customers whenever they have an inquiry.

Pay: $21 an hour

 

Job Responsibilities

 

• Thoroughly understand regulations and customs requirements (BIETC, titles, Bill of lading, phytosanitary documents, Packing list).

• Conduct deep dive research for clients’ inquiries and prepare invoices.

• Order sea containers according to procedure (shared container possible).

• Establish strong relationships with customers to allow for open communication, problem solving and resolution of any issues.

• Respond to all phone calls, texts, whatsApp messages etc.

• Review and respond to emails received in the ‘contact@axomegroup’ mailbox. Ensure customers’ inquiries are responded to on the same day.

• Research and escalate inquiries to management if needed (must be done same day)

• Must go to the warehouse once a week.

• Must supervise the loading process to minimize breakage and maximize space utilization.

• Must inspect the container and the pallets to be loaded before container loading.

• Record the number of goods loaded into containers and check the condition of outer packaging.

 

Required Work Experience & Skills

• 2.5 years of experience in administrative work.

• Ability to multitask.

• Must be able follow detailed procedures.

• Conduct deep dive research for clients’ inquiries.

• Advanced math, reading and writing English.

• Ability to plan and execute detailed plans of actions.

• Comfortable building and maintaining professional relationships with customers.

• Highly organized, self-sufficient and comfortable working independently.

• Focused on providing exceptional customer service.

• Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve.

• Proficiency to multi-task in an effort to complete all duties in a timely and productive manner.

• Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
