Web Designer

Responsiblties:

• Design sample pages.
• Prepare design plans to maintain and improve website structure.
• Maintain documentation and provide reports of website and social media activity, including analytics and tagging.
• Work with graphic design team to align look/feel of website and social media with other print communication channels.
• Produce and edit content for social media and monitor social media properties.
• Manage and monitor paid advertising campaigns on social media channels.
• Operate as administrator of Cascade content management system  including security (managing users, groups, and roles within the CMS), accessibility checking, managing workflow and publish triggers, and work as liaison with CMS website hosting company.
• Create and configure Cascade CMS templates, using Velocity, a java-based template engine.
• Troubleshoot Cascade CMS applications and custom-developed tools.
• Collaborate with third party developers to create custom tools for internal MCC customers.
• Provide CSS maintenance and/or support for college partnered tools.
• Work collaboratively with others to accomplish functions and responsibilities.
• Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
