Web Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and manages the front-end and back-end functionality of websites, applications, and services.
• Implements, develops, and supports site management tools, including the content management system video/photo management systems, and tools used throughout the UT Tyler websites.
• Provides reports and tracking on website metrics.
• Investigates and implements new web-related technologies which may be related to security, user interface design, programming frameworks and methodologies, database solutions, and communication protocols/schemes.
• Monitors SEO standards and trends to maximize UT Tyler’s appearance in organic search results.
• Delivering trainings for new editors on the website as well as the development of content for ongoing development opportunities.
