Wifi Test Engineer

• Performing WLAN IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax Testing
• Performing WLAN Sanity ,Regression & performance testing. Analysing and debugging the WiFi issues
• Responsible for identifying test scenarios to verify CPE software requirements
• Responsible for documenting the individual test steps of test scenarios with their respective results in the context of the test environment
• Responsible for defining and documenting the relevant test environments needed for individual test cases
• Performing test planning, execution, triage and raising bugs for the Gateways
• Octoscope/RF Chamber performance testing
• Test using  Traffic generator tools like Spirent / Ixia / Veriwave, iperf3 and WLAN tools including Wireshark
• Debug & analyze the issues through packet captures & logs
• Performing testing on Next Gen WiFi features like Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0,GAS,Interworking etc)

7+ years of experience with 5+ years in networking and Wi-Fi • Strong understanding of Wi-Fi(Standards, Modulation, Antennas, MIMO, Spatial Streams, SNR, Noise Floor, RF survey). • Strong understanding of 802.1x, RADIUS authentication. • Strong fundamental knowledge of IP, DHCP, VLAN. • Ability to plan and execute tests for new Wi-Fi features and services. • Candidate MUST be able to capture and analyze packets using variety of tools like Wireshark, Omnipeek, AirMagnet etc., • SHOULD be able to extract, analyze and debug logs on Android and iOS. • MUST be able to baseline Wi-Fi performance under multiple environmental conditions. • SHOULD have hands on experience on performance testing using Ixia, Spirent
