Job Description :

Banking Solution Architect:

This role requires a progressive and energetic Architect that can guide and develop the full stack for web, desktop, and mobile applications and partner with IT teams to architect and design new technology solutions. This role provides critical direction to the solution integration for a number of best-in-class strategic financial technology partners; as well as guidance to internally developed solutions. Qualified applicants will have at least 10 years of experience in Information Technology; with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of corporate projects. You will need 5 years of hands-on .NET Development experience with C# and Web Technologies in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS. Experience with Enterprise Service Bus technologies, such as MuleSoft or BizTalk and React Native is a strong plus.

Job duties

  • Understand, advise, coordinate, and develop the full stack for web, desktop, and mobile applications, including server/network/hosting, data modeling, business logic, API, user interface/ experience, and customer/business needs
  • Partner with IT teams to architect and design new technology solutions to improve efficiency and drive value, while adhering to the strategic and tactical business objectives of the Deposit and Lending Service teams
  • Lead meetings with multiple business units across geographically dispersed teams with a focus on communicating creative solutions, including clear/concise documentation and verbal explanations of complex business operations to both technical and nontechnical personnel
  • Evaluate various integration capabilities, meet with internal SMEs on various system functionality, and assist users in requirement development for enhancements and defect resolution
  • Work closely with multiple teams in the initiation and design phases and develop a thorough understanding of unique business needs
  • Partner with IS team members, users, and vendors in the development, design, and documentation of systems integration projects
  • Lead departmental development efforts to include capturing knowledge capital, conducting internal training classes, and sharing information across the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and developing an architecture framework to govern how solutions will be developed and implemented, including technology domain architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles and standards.
  • Work with the team and other technology partners to understand security standards and risks, as well as ratify solution security design.
  • Research and analyze business requirements to recommend optimal architecture solutions.
  • Review and approve detailed solution architecture and design to comply with architectural and security standards, patterns and frameworks.
  • Contribute to project plan development, offer input, manage projects and initiatives, direct assigned resources, communicate project status and ensure timely issue escalation.
  •  Participate as an expert and consultant on projects of moderate to high risk and complexity.
  •  Help develop a Requirement Traceability Matrix for end-to-end traceability (solution to requirements).
  •  Build consensus, facilitate collaboration and decision-making within and across business units so IT strategy application aligns with architecture framework.
  • Ensure projects comply with technology domain architecture, design and operate processes to help review ongoing activity against technology architecture and development standards
  •  Respect technology delivery practices, standards and project management disciplines, including system requirements project documentation creation, cost and scope estimation.
  • Support development, documentation, communication and execution of a comprehensive strategy, policies and solutions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions have met requirements, identify framework gaps, necessary enhancements, potential standards and patterns for future versions.
  •  Contribute to the technology standards decision-making process.
  • Establish parameters for continued solution investments, provide technical risk analysis and assessment
