Data Analyst, STEM

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside engineering team members with data analysis projects and tasking.
• Transform disparate data into digestible information.
• Present and disseminate findings to all technical knowledge levels.
• Improve existing techniques and devise new techniques to solve security data problems.
• Independently propose and develop creative solutions to unique problems, potentially leading IR&D projects.
• Identify and articulate strengths and weaknesses of solutions, conclusions, and problem approaches during technical discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years’ experience, Master’s degree in related field with 2 years’ experience, or PhD with 0 years’ experience, or equivalent related work experience.
• Expert oral and written communication skills with ability to present and write for a variety of audience technical levels.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts.
• Basic understanding of Cyber Security concepts.
• Experience storing, organizing and querying data from a variety of sources.
• Desire to learn basic scripting languages such as Python or R.
• Excitement about learning new technical subject areas and curiosity about cyber security and big data problems.
• Must be a sole U.S. Citizen and currently hold a minimum TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
