• Must have a firm knowledge of various computer programming languages and familiarity with basic concepts of Linux will be helpful. It is good to have knowledge of any one scripting language as well.
• Is expected to be working with a variety of open-source tools and technologies for managing source codes.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of IT operations and sysadmin roles in order to strategize the entire integration and deployment process is beneficial.
• Must have expertise in software code testing and deployment, which will smoothen the journey of a DevOps Engineer.
• A DevOps Engineer must be deploying various automation tools of DevOps to perfection and is expected to have thorough knowledge of software development through automation tools.
• Must have a firm grounding in the methodology of project management.
• Must be able to connect to technical and business goals with alacrity should be the foremost aim of a DevOps Engineer.
• Must be able to exhibit good communication skills and should be well-versed in working with teams.
