Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Ensures proper staffing following the hiring plan for the department and maintains up to date resource capacity planning
- Continuous resource & budget planning for the department including capital investment to meet growing demands of the business unit
- Manages the department expenses to stay within budget, initiates cost savings measures.
- Develops partnerships with local external organizations in North America to enhance the regional footprint
- Develops and executes training plans based on needs of the new and current employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineer, Software Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle.
- Knowledge in automotive software product development cycles.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
