Job Description :

The HIM Specialist is responsible for one or more of the following: record analysis (identifying, reporting, and tracking items in the patent record that need to be completed by physicians prior to the record being considered complete and compliant according to Federal, State Laws as well as Facility requirements),deficiency monitoring, Releasing Patient Information as requested, Enterprise Medical Record Integrity, Master Patient Index Integrity, and/or Registry Maintenance. The HIM Specialist concentrates primarily on his/her assigned activity and is highly skilled.
