IBM Managed Resiliency Services Consultant/Architect

Required Qualifications:

• This specialty concentrates on the assessment and design of infrastructures using IBM Managed Resiliency Services to support the applications, business processes, and recovery objectives required by the client.
• Included in the focus areas is the critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the infrastructure to meet client availability, recovery, continuity, and resilient business objectives.
• Best practices in this role use various techniques including architectural patterns, modeling, simulation, and testing to validate the designs and selected products.
• Infrastructure Architects are responsible for the performance, availability, and scalability of the infrastructure. Additionally, Architects in this specialty provide IBM Resiliency Practice leadership in IBM by participating in or leading IBM Resiliency Services Practices and improvement projects.
• This role concentrates on the design of infrastructures including servers, storage, workstations, middleware, non-application software, networks, and the physical facilities that support the applications and business processes required by the client.
• Included in the focus areas is the critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the infrastructure.
• Best practices in this role use various techniques including modeling, simulation, and testing to validate the designs and selected products.
• Infrastructure Architects are responsible for the performance, availability, and scalability of the infrastructure.
